Don’t forget Parents evening is this Wednesday 1st November. If you have not yet booked a Parents evening appointment please speak to the office who will happily sort one for you. If you are unavailable to attend this Wednesday your Year 2 teacher will arrange another time. We are looking forward to seeing so many parents.
We are starting our new topic Monsters and Monarchy. Can you find out what the word Monarchy means and who we might be learning about?
After all their hard work Year 2 watched London burn today! They had a fantastic time and had loads of questions about the historic event. All were really impressed with your sensible behaviour and amazing vocabulary.
Year two really enjoyed their day with the fireman. Looking at what they do within their job and sitting in the fire engine.

Within our topic “Wish you were here” we are going to be looking at the fire of London. As part of our design technology we will be building our own model London. Please could children bring into school cardboard boxes (cereal boxes, shoe boxes etc) to build there London town house with. Thank you from all the year 2 teachers.
As a school we have changed the way we send homework. Each child now has a red homework book to complete a question that is decided as a class. This means that sometimes 2LT, 2CP and 2LG might have slightly different homework questions. We are looking forward to seeing your new creative homework’s this week!!!
